Photos from Great Grandma's
We just wanted to share some of the happy pictures we took while visiting my Grandma (the kids Great Grandma) this summer!!! We sure had fun on our trip to the states and we are so glad that the kids were healthy enough to visit their Great Grandma. I never bring them over to see her if they have even the slightest of colds, and luckily we were all healthy this summer. She got to meet the youngest of all her Great Grandchildren, baby Kaitlyn Brielle. I have one wonderful photo below of Great Grandma meeting Kaitlyn for the first time. We only wish it were easier for us to visit because we'd love to stop by Grandma's house now to send her our love and well wishes. After talking to my Mom we've heard she isn't doing very well now--not from illness, but rather simply from old age. She was born in 1913 which makes her a wise 94 years old! She was in prime health when we visited her in August...but as she is only 6 months away from 95 years, she is really tired these days. SENDING ALL OUR LOVE Grandma!!!! XO XO XO XO XO

The Tooth Fairy Visits
This is a video of him before bed...we wrote a letter to the toothfairy asking permission to keep the tooth...He is acting a quite "babyish" in the video. Right after he lost the tooth I was making a big deal out of him being SUCH a big boy now and growing up so fast! He is only 5 and lost his first tooth already (other than the one that he knocked out). Krista only lost her first tooth when she was 6 years and 5 months old! It its amazing because he started getting his 6 year molars at his 5 year birthday. He has 3 of his molars fully in, and the last one is poking its way through. He is really "teething" now too because he is chewing on his blankets and stuffed animals to get that last one through. So cute!!! Notice how he says: "The tooth fairy is going to pass tonight"... That is so FRENCH! Passer is the verb in French. In French one would say "va passer ce soir". Both the kids often use a French verb in the English form!
