The Fray---BIG NEWS!!!

This is BIG TIME!! ABC has picked up The Fray's new song "You Found Me" for the trailer to the show "Lost"! The trailer premiered last night! I couldn't wait to watch it this a.m. It gave me chills to watch.....SO cool! I'm really happy for them as I think "Lost" will do for "You Found Me" what "Grey's Anatomy" did for "How to Save a Life"...They didn't write this song for the show---they wrote it several years earlier and it just worked out perfectly! I just know their new album is going to be amazing! It is due for release in February. So anyway, I'm SO proud of you Mike! GREAT JOB....AGAIN!!!!! XO

Grammy Award Nominees Announced

The 49th Annual Grammy Award nominees were announced today.... and I'm happy to report that The Fray have been nominated for TWO Grammys! Way to go guys!

They were nominated in Field 1 (Pop), Category 7 for Best Pop Performance for the song "Over My Head"... and then they were nominated AGAIN in Field 4 (Rock) Category 16 for Best Rock Performance for the song "How to Save a Life." In the Rock category they are up against some stiff competition: a U2, Green Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Coldplay (hmmmm ever hear of any of them???). Anyway, I think that The Fray deserve a turn now, thanks! And even in the Pop category there are some contenders...they are up against Keane and The Black Eyed Peas to name a few.

Now the countdown to "Grammy Sunday" on Febuary 11th has begun! It should be a great night! I'm so proud of Mike and the band for all of their hard work. Lets cheer them on!!!!

The Fray as Spidermen and MY favorite Fray song (Look After You)!

For all you Fray fans out there...this is great. If you ever wondered what the Fray would look like as Spidermen, here you go!

They performed on Halloween in Orlando and every one of the band members dressed up as Spiderman.

As for the Fray they're doing awesome...I think they'll be releasing their 3rd single soon in the U.S. (which is my FAVORITE song actually "Look After You"--I'll post a link to that too).

So, it will soon be Grammy time (February I think) and I have a STRONG suspicion they'll get nominated!! CROSS YOUR FINGERS! A gold and platnium album along with a Grammy nomination (or better yet...a GRAMMY!) would be just awesome for my brother and the band!

And here is MY personal ALL-TIME FAVORITE Fray song, "Look After You"... which will be their 3rd single to be released (it might already be out...I'm too far from the US now to know!). This song always brings tears to my eyes because it was on the hospital birth video that we had made when Kaitlyn was born. IT IS SO beautifuuuuul! The strings are INCREDIBLE as is Isaac's voice! Enjoy this one--it is acoustic and phenominal!

My Brother and The Fray

I'm so very proud of my little brother Mike! First off..for finding this great band The Fray; secondly for producing this AWESOME album and thirdly for going GOLD...and now PLATNIUM (see photo attached of the official platnium plaque). Yes ladies and gentlemen, this means the album that my brother produced has sold over ONE MILLION copies! Not bad for his FIRST album as producer. He has of course has co-produced other albums, but this is his first as main producer, and I must say... Job WELL DONE Mike!! There are a few clips of Mike on http://www.howtosavealife.com/ , which features the Fray's second single "How to Save a Life"...and the story behind the song (really neat!).

Here in France I can hear "Over my Head" (the first single off the album) all the time when I turn on the radio in my car. The first time I heard this song on the radio here I thought it was just my CD, but then I realized it was actually on European radio! It has topped the charts in many countries now...including Australia where it hit #1!! It is neat to know that it is my little brother who's responsible for this happening!!
